Dr. Steven Meyers founded My Parenting Advisor by combining his clinical expertise and research knowledge that he has gained in nearly 30 years as a psychologist.
He has worked with parents and families in many different roles, including providing psychotherapy, assessments, and consultation as a licensed and board certified clinical psychologist. He directs the Initiative for Child and Family Studies at Roosevelt University, where he is chair of the Department of Psychology and teaches college courses on child mental health. He has also published extensively about child and family well-being, and is often quoted as a subject matter expert in The New York Times, the HuffPost, the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Parent, and WebMD.
